Privacy Policy
Effective date: 25 June 2026
Audrio (“we”, “us”) helps you capture voice notes and timestamps anchored to the podcasts and audiobooks you listen to. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: hello@audrio.app.
What we collect
- Account info: the email address you sign up with (or that Apple/Google provides), and an internal user ID.
- Your content: the voice recordings you make, the notes and clips you create, transcriptions of your voice notes, and the sources (podcasts/audiobooks) you add.
- Usage analytics: product-interaction events (e.g. which features you use), plus crash and error diagnostics, tied to your user ID. We do not record your screen (no session replay).
We do not collect data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we do not serve ads.
How we use it
- To provide the app: store and sync your notes, recordings, and sources; resume playback; enforce your plan’s limits.
- To transcribe your voice notes (Pro): see “Third parties” below.
- To improve the app: understand which features are used and fix crashes.
- To manage your subscription.
Third parties we share with (processors)
We use trusted service providers to run Audrio. They process your data only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage for your account, notes, and recordings.
- OpenAI — when you (as a Pro user) create a voice note, the audio is sent to OpenAI’s Whisper service to produce a transcription. Audio is sent solely to generate your transcript.
- PostHog — first-party product analytics and error tracking (session replay is disabled).
- RevenueCat and Apple — to process and validate your subscription.
- Apple / Google — only if you choose to sign in with them.
We do not sell your personal data.
Your choices
- Turn off analytics: Settings › Privacy › “Share usage analytics”.
- Delete content: delete individual notes or sources in the app (deleting a source removes its notes and recordings).
- Delete your account and data: email hello@audrio.app and we will delete your account and associated data.
- Manage your subscription: in the App Store (Settings › your Apple ID › Subscriptions).
Data retention
We keep your content until you delete it or close your account. Analytics events are retained for a limited period for product analysis.
Security
Your notes and recordings are stored in owner-scoped records protected by row-level security, accessible only by your authenticated account.
Children
Audrio is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; we’ll revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
