Terms of Use
Effective date: 30 June 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Audrio app and website ("Audrio", "we", "us"). By downloading or using Audrio, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Questions: hello@audrio.app.
1. Who can use Audrio
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Audrio. By using it, you confirm you meet that requirement.
2. Your account
You sign in with email, Apple, or Google. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under it. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Audrio for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and Apple's standard App Store licensing terms.
4. Subscriptions, free trial & billing
- Audrio offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription (monthly or yearly), which may include a 7-day free trial.
- Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period (or trial) ends, it renews automatically and your Apple ID is charged the then-current price.
- If you start a free trial and don't cancel before it ends, it converts to a paid subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms.
5. Your content
You own the voice notes, clips, transcriptions, and sources you create or add ("Your Content"). You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, process, and display Your Content to provide the service (including transcription via our processors, as described in our Privacy Policy). We don't claim ownership of Your Content and we don't sell it.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Audrio for anything unlawful, or to infringe others' rights;
- add or capture content you don't have the right to use;
- reverse-engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service or its infrastructure;
- use Audrio in a way that is unsafe — never operate the app in a manner that distracts you from driving safely or violates local laws.
7. Third-party services
Audrio relies on third parties (e.g. Supabase, OpenAI, PostHog, RevenueCat, Apple, and Google) to function. Your use of those features is also subject to their terms. See our Privacy Policy for details.
8. Disclaimer
Audrio is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee that transcriptions are accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Audrio and its founder are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content, arising from your use of the app.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; we'll revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
